Wandula (Edith's other band) updated the European and Brazilian folk sounds of the first half of the 20th century to today's context adding new textures and some experimentalism. The Swiss-Brazilian Edith Camargo's second album goes to the heart of Chanson Française, inspired by the sounds of another Edith (Piaf), the French and Brazilan folk music updated with her unique, fresh and personal touch - with piano, acordeon, cello added to her much inspired and peculiar vocals. The 12 original songs here just are just superb. Highly recommended!!
